Job Description

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimise downtime during production.
  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Monitor and upgrade electrical systems to meet operational requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Engineer should have:

  • Formal qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Practical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts.
