Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for battery energy storage systems within the consultancy sector.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with project requirements.
  • Travel to client sites is required for this position.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
  • Ensure sustainability and ethical sourcing practices are integrated into the procurement process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the consultancy industry is desired but not required.
  • Prior experience in the procurement activities of battery energy storage systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of battery energy storage systems and related technologies.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
