Job Description

  • Assisting in the preparation of accounts and financial reports.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and performing regular audits.
  • Providing administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Supporting the finance team with project management and ad hoc tasks.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Assistant Accountant should have:

  • Experience in a similar role at assistant accountant level
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • The ability to work well within a team and independently when necessary.
  • A commitment to the not-for-profit sector and a passion for education.
