Job Description

  • Lead the Procurement & Supply Chain team in strategic management of facilities and assets.
  • Design and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality service and products.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of assets, from acquisition to disposal.
  • Comply with public sector procurement regulations and policies.
  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Report on procurement performance and strategies to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful FM & Assets Category Manager should have:

  • A strong background in Procurement & Supply Chain within the public sector.
  • Proven experience in managing facilities and assets.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and policies.
  • A degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
