You will help with the business strategy, deliver key objectives, develop partner relationships and manage the delivery of a major part of the organisation' supplier management program within a large complex environment.Manage the delivery of a major part of the organisations procurement strategy and support major procurement programs.Managing a team of 20 and leading of strategic inputDevelop and implement strategic procurement plans for indirect categoriesFoster strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholdersPromote and ensure adherence to procurement policies and proceduresDrive cost savings and efficiencies in the procurement processOversee contract negotiations and supplier selectionManage a team of procurement professionals, ensuring their development and performanceMonitor procurement performance metrics and produce reports for senior managementStay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulationsThe Successful ApplicantA successful Director of Procurement - Head of Indirect Procurement should have:A proven track record working as senior procurement professional as a Director/ Head of Procurement or Commercial leader who have work across multiple categories in a large complex organisation.Proven experience in a senior procurement role ideally within health care (not essential)Strong leadership and team management skills of 15+ managers across a complex organisationExcellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
